Hey Alonso, nice post.

When I was exploring Obj-C I certainly felt the same way about the method naming and message passing. The syntax is similar to Smalltalk messages and it doesn't take much for you get used to it.

Today I like the fact that this syntax lead to a more readable and expressive code from th client perspective. I even catch myself doing something "similar" using named arguments in C#.

Curious to see what you are up to next.

I am up to the third lecture myself on the Stanford Objective C course and Paul Hegarty does an excellent job teaching the course. I am able to follow along rather easily and Objective C makes a lot more sense now after the RPN project lecture and build. I chuckled at how Xcode links View objects like buttons to the controller via Control-{Draw a line} combination, but I am keeping an open mind. I am ready to jump in now and build my first iPhone app.

Raj,

The only way I got around this was by creating my own solution and WSP package as described in the article. That was on MOSS 2007 and I'm sure things have changed in SP2010. Unfortunately, I have not worked with InfoPath 2010 and SP2010 at all so I won't be of much help. However, I can't imagine that it would be much different.

Sorry for not being clear. Our implementation was successful with Aquiles. However, it was a bit challenging due to lack of documentation and that the version we used was built against Cassandra 7.3 while we had Cassandra 8.x running. We have had some disucssion about rolling our own client against the Thrift API or making contribution updates back to the Aquiles project, but have not traveled down either of those roads yet.
